Peter Seitz founded Swiss Orthopedic in 1989. Peter graduated in 1979 from the University of Zurich with a certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Committed to maintaining the highest standard in quality and personalized services, he has undergone specialized training in Chur, a ski area of Switzerland, where he studied the design and fitting of all types of fracture bracing, and in Munich, where he further refined his skills in the crafting of customized orthotic and prosthetic devices. Since moving to New Jersey in 1982, Peter has been engaged in the general practice of prosthetics and orthotics. He continues to pursue ongoing training in the use of the most current materials and techniques. Peter and his wife moved to Vermont and is assisting Swiss Orthopedic as a consultant.
Hal Drallmeyer started to work for Swiss Orthopedic in 1993 as a certified orthotist and prosthetist. He received his training in Germany from 1985 to 1989. Since 1989 he has undergone training for scoliosis back bracing at one of the well known scoliosis treatment centers in northern Germany. In 1995 he went back to Germany to study at the Federal Technical School for Orthopedic Technicians in Dortmund BUFA and received his masters degree and ISPO diploma (International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics), which is worldwide recognized. He came back to Swiss Orthopedic in 1997 to join with Peter to provide a wide range of state-of-the-art services. Hal is a New Jersey State licensed Orthotist and Prosthetist and certified by The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC). He is one among 3 practitioners in the State of New Jersey that holds a Masters Degree Diploma in Orthotics and Prosthetics from BUFA and ISPO
Bjorn Schmidt is a certified orthotist and prosthetist, with extensive professional training and experience in both Germany and USA. He started his career in Bremen and Oldenburg, Germany, and later completed advanced training at the Federal Academy of Orthopedic Technology in Dortmund, Germany. He worked for Hanger Clinic in Pittsburgh, PA from 2007 to 2014, leading its prosthetic department and overseeing the clinic’s residency program, working with top physiatrists at UPMC (University of Pittsburg Medical Center) and advising master degree candidates of UPMC Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology. He recently joined Swiss Orthopedic Inc to work with Hal Drallmeyer and to provide quality services in latest orthopedic technology.
Andreia Lemos is responsible for business operations and vendor communications. She is a Finacial Analyst by trade and is responsible for accounts payable and bookkeeping. She is assisting our front office with scheduling patient appointment scheduling. Andreia is managing our Care Credit offiering to patients without insurance coverage.
